I drank for 50 years which is something a man shouldn't do and all at once I couldn't remember what any of them looked like. I couldn't see their faces Jackson, Cason, Demello, Hudson, all of them. They all looked alike, just one face. And it was very young. It confused me for many years. I tried to stay drunk until I wasn't confused anymore....a work in progress! This picture has always haunted me. (see Major Stovall, "12 o'clock High")
